Julie Easley
Counseling
The Full Story
I am a licensed mental health counselor specializing in supporting pre-teens, teens and young
adults as they navigate the complexities of adolescence and early adulthood. Prior to entering the
counseling field, I spent 16 years working directly with at-risk youth, including those
experiencing homelessness, crisis situations, and sexual exploitation and trafficking. This work
provided me with a deep understanding of the challenges many young people face and
strengthened my commitment to advocacy, safety, and compassionate care.
Following my years in outreach and intervention, I served as the Director of a 24/7 youth shelter
for youth ages 13–17, as well as overseeing outreach programs for young adults in Pierce
County. In this role, I focused on creating safe, supportive environments while collaborating with
community partners to meet the complex needs of vulnerable youth.
Driven by a passion to provide compassionate, respectful, and unconditional care, I earned my
master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and obtained professional licensure, with
additional specialization in ADHD. My clinical work focuses on depression, anxiety, PTSD, self-
harming behaviors, self-esteem, ADHD, behavioral and social challenges, family support, and
academic concerns.
In addition, I work with adults navigating relationship and parenting challenges, grief and loss,
anxiety, depression, PTSD, and major life transitions.
I am dedicated to helping my clients feel seen, supported, and empowered in their journey
toward healing and wholeness. You can reach me to set up an appointment at my website,
